Hi!
Hi, my name is Mira Melzer. I'm a graphic and UI/UX designer based in Berlin with a passion for creating beautiful and functional designs.
I have a background in graphic design and have been working in the field for over 5 years. Projects I have worked on include branding, marketing design, UI and UX design for web and mobile applications. I have a strong focus on user-centered design and always strive to create intuitive and engaging experiences for users.
Besides design, I really enjoy traveling, photography and reading. I'm always looking for new challenges and opportunities to learn and grow.
2021 – Today
Since April 2021 I'm working in a re-commerce company where I'm mainly responsible for social media assets and Tiktok content (for medimops) but also other marketing designs like web banners, newsletter, landingpages for momox and momox fashion or internal print assets and anything else that needs a design.
2019 – 2020
After my apprenticeship I switched from digital to print and worked for a greeting card company where I was able to pursue my second passion I developed over the past years: Illustration. I illustrated numerous motifs for the entire product range, which can now be found in retail stores in over 20 countries in three languages. I also was responsible for the concept and design of the product catalogues for Germany and France.
2016 – 2019
These two years were fun, so I decided to complete the three-year dual apprenticeship as a media designer specializing in digital and print to dive deeper. I got to know my first customer projects and the Berlin agency life. From now on, website relaunches, the design of web, advertising, social media and infographics have determined my everyday life.
2014 – 2016 in Kassel
While researching a school for my advanced technical college entrance qualification, I happened to come across a two-year school-based training program for a design and media technology assistants. This was the beginning of my journey to becoming a graphic designer. I learned the basics in all possible areas. From print design, packaging design, web design and development, to film and editing techniques, to computer science and project management.
